2013 Offseason Schedule

Ok so now that 2012 is in the books here is how the offseason is going to go down. From what I understand you SHOULD be able to re-sign players you traded for in Stage #1. We'll make sure that is accurate once we advance tonight. So you will have tonight/all of Thursday to re-sign the players you wish on your squad. Come Friday morning we will advance the league and free agency will begin. This will start the weekend of XML transactions. At this point it should be every man and cap salary for himself. DON'T GO BANKRUPT. Saturday morning we'll advance the league again to let those initial offers to set in and see if anyone signs. Come Sunday morning we will advance it yet again to sort out free agency more. Sunday afternoon we will advance and the normal free agency period will be over. At this point will be your last chance to scout if you had not done so earlier. Finally come Sunday (11th) night at 10 pm est, 9 cst we will hold the live draft via PS3. Note, that I may start the draft a little bit earlier but pause it so that teams can swap draft picks pre-draft easily. Immediately following the draft the computer automatically signs your rookies. It will then be at this point in the evening when we will advance to Week 1 of the preseason and Monday will be your day to play Week 1. If there are any questions, comments, or concerns hit me up. I think this plan should be efficient for everyone while moving swiftlly through the weekend to get to a point where we can play next week again.

And as for the preseason, we will do 24 hours per week again. So we would advance Tuesday to Week 2 of preseason, etc. Any other information that is important I'll be sure to post here in the News so continue to check back.

Couldn't resign any of the guys I traded for..

Yeah this is weird...I got locks on anything that has to do with re-signing players or the like. I cannot resign any of my guys nor the folks traded for. Only option I had was to say I was ready for advance to Stage #2. Am I doing something wrong here?

Which players? And Danny, I do know you 'were' on auto pilot when you left a while back so that may be why. I took you off auto.

Ohhhhhhh. That's right, DK. I didn't even think about that. Alright so that will probably help me out some...haha.

Nice job scheduling the draft during the bears game

Also theres playstation maintenance on the night of sunday at 10pm till 1am. If everyone signs on to psn before 10pm, we still be able to do the draft.

We wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that there is a planned maintenance for PlayStation Network scheduled for the night of Sunday, November 11^th from 10PM to 1AM (Monday morning) Pacific Time (1AM to 4AM Eastern). To clarify, this is a three hour maintenance.



If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable. Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window.

Having some of the same problems resigning guys. Wesley Woodyard and Chris Harris.

I am thinking once we advance to the next stage the players that you can't sign will be signed on your team still. We will see once I advance what happens to those players.

Also, thanks for notifying me of the PSN maintenance. The draft will be moved to Monday night now at the same time as scheduled for Sunday.
