Cincinnati, OH -- In the fourth installment of the XML, the NFC is as talented as its ever been. From the rosters to the users themselves, this conference is easily as good as advertised. From the NFC North who is stacked from top to bottom, to the NFC West who sees a complete turnover in ownership, this conference will be fun to watch as the seasons go by. Here are 4 questions to help you better understand the NFC landscape...

    1) Will the Packers continue their NFC North Dominance?

It’s certainly no surprise that the Green Bay Packers (TheDarkKnight) were able to dominate in a relatively unstable NFC North in Madden 12. DK had an absolutely fantastic year, taking the Packers to 2 straight XML Bowl appearances last year (XML Bowls 7 & 8 ). However, not only was there a distinct talent disparity between the Packers and the rest of the Norse division, but the owner issues were as rocky as the mountains in Colorado. Nonetheless, the NFC North trots out a rather impressive foursome in Madden 13. MoWarrior (Chicago Bears), JameryD (Detroit Lions), and CaptainKirk (Minnesota Vikings) are all skilled enough to give the DK and his Packers all they could ask for, as they make up what looks to be – on paper – the most difficult division in the NFC.

    2) Can the “Dream Team” make the big show under new leadership?

The Philadelphia Eagles were certainly one of the better franchises in the XML last year. Unfortunately, they never truly lived up to their self proclaimed “Dream” status. With Neo613 calling the shots in the city of Brotherly Love, we know 2 things to be true: (1) they’ll play plenty of solid D led by the Cover 2 scheme, and (2) the offense, led by Michael Vick, will be one of the most potent in all of the XML. The rest of the NFC East -- which includes names you know in mblammers (Cowboys) and Psychomantis (New York Giants), as well as NFC East newbie BigJohnMic (Redskins) -- will have plenty to worry about when trying to contain all the weapons in the Eagles’ artillery.

    3) The Wild West is wide open… right?

Great question. Actually, we really don’t know. What we do know about the NFC West is they’re playing a game called “Same Faces, New Places”. Every team in the West has a new owner, and those owners were all a part of the last year’s XML owner roster. Hass goes from the Jets to the Rams, BettaThanU stays in The Bay, but leaves Oakland for San Francisco, Zsirvone leaves the swaps of Jacksonville for the deserts in Arizona, and YoungC moves from Tennessee to Seattle. While Young C may have the most established/accomplished resume of this group, Zsirvone has the most talented Wideout in Larry Fitzgerald, BettaThanU has hands down the best defense, and Hass has what could be the best QB of the bunch with Sam Bradford. This should be an exciting race to track.

    4) Will the best team in the NFC South please stand up?

The NFC South is very tough to get a read on. However, we do there are Running Back tandems aplenty. The Atlanta Falcons are as talented as any team in the XML, and have a very talented owner in YoungWattz leading the way with Michael Turner and the speedy Jaquizz Rodgers. KLC22 comes back as the Carolina Panthers owner, and he’ll look to ride the legs of Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams to heights unseen in year 2. “Good ol’ Sal” a.k.a. BSanders2009 returns as the New Orleans Saints owner. Last year, Sal was able to acquire some solid pieces, but struggled to get them to gel. He’ll look to bounce back this year as Darren Sproles, Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas look to split time at Halfback. Lastly, a young gun takes the wheel in Tampa Bay, as FlyAsomughaFly joins the XML with the powerful LeGarrette Blount and the rookie Doug Martin in tow. He’s the cousin to RepTHESkers a.k.a Zach (who opened Madden 12 as the Bengals in XML). If his game is anywhere close to his cousin’s, he could definitely vie for the NFC South crown.
